Stainless Flat Washers (SAE)

Marine Bolt Supply offers both type 18-8 stainless and (marine grade) type 316 stainless steel SAE flat washers. Typically SAE washers have a smaller outside diameter and can be slightly thicker than the common washer. SAE washers are popular in the automotive industry. Type 18-8 stainless steel has a high resistance to rust and corrosion and may be mildly magnetic. Type 316 stainless offers superior resistance to rust and corrosion and is recommended for chemical, salt water or coastal environments.
